Refund policy
Each Adelaida Arte piece is carefully handcrafted with dedication, detail, and artistic intention.
Because of the handmade nature of my work, small variations or slight irregularities may occur. These are part of the charm and authenticity of every creation, and should not be considered defects.
Refunds and returns
My priority is that you feel happy with your purchase.
If an item arrives damaged during transit or was sent by mistake, please contact me within 3 days of delivery at info@adelaidaarte.com, attaching clear photos of the product and its packaging.
I will personally review your message and offer the best possible solution.
Please note that refunds or returns are not accepted in the following cases, except where the legal right of withdrawal applies:
• Custom-made, made-to-order, or personalized items.
• Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or lack of care.
• Items returned used, damaged, altered, or not in their original condition.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the same original payment method.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a mistake on my part or the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
Right of withdrawal for EU customers
According to EU consumer regulations, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of non-personalized items within 14 days from the day they receive the order, without giving any reason.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made, made-to-order, or personalized goods created according to the customer’s specific request.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may use the electronic withdrawal form available through the “Right of withdrawal / Diritto di recesso” link in the footer of this website, or contact me at info@adelaidaarte.com within 14 days of delivery.
Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original condition.
Return shipping costs are at the buyer’s expense, unless the return is due to a mistake on my part or the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, any approved refund will be processed through the original payment method.
Unclaimed or returned parcels
All parcels are shipped with tracking and care.
If the courier attempts delivery and no one is available, the parcel may be held at the local postal office or collection point for pickup.
If the parcel is not collected and is returned to sender, any reshipping costs, return fees, or additional postal charges may be at the buyer’s expense.
If the buyer provides an incorrect or incomplete shipping address and the parcel is returned or delayed, any additional shipping costs may also be at the buyer’s expense.
Shipping responsibility
Every order is inspected and packaged with great care before shipping.
If a parcel is delayed, damaged, or appears to be lost during transit, please contact me as soon as possible so I can assist you and, when possible, open a claim with the carrier.
For issues caused after successful delivery, such as an unclaimed parcel, failed collection, or an incorrect/incomplete address provided by the buyer, any additional shipping or reshipping costs may be at the buyer’s expense.
Customs delays, import duties, taxes, or charges applied by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer.
